In May 2011, the ASPCA took another progressive step in addressing pet homelessness with the opening of a dedicated spay/neuter clinic in New York City for animals managed by rescuers and humane organizations. The new facility is outfitted with state-of-the-art medical equipment and staffed with expert medical and administrative personnel. High quality spay/neuter services are provided to caretakers and rescuers of feral and adoptable cats and dogs at very low cost. Animals can be brought directly to the clinic by a registered rescuer or through our transport program.
